PVC is one of the most widely used polymers in wire and cable applications, offering excellent electrical insulation and reliable performance across a wide voltage range, including high-performance cables up to 230 kV. When formulated with the appropriate PVC additives, PVC compounds provide outstanding flexibility, weather resistance, and chemical resistance, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor cable applications. Wire and cable additives also enhance processing efficiency on high-speed extruders, ensuring smooth insulation and sheathing, consistent dimensional control, and cost-effective production while maintaining long-term electrical and mechanical performance.
